The people who know me know I'm not a big fan of Winter. That being said one thing I do like about Winter is when the sun is shining. There is not a lot of it in Winter or so it seems but when it's out it's pure joy.During my working days at lunch if the sun was out, I use to drive to an open parking lot. There I would put the seat down close my eyes and let the sun wash over my face, dreaming of the coming summer. Just those short moments gave me hope for the days to come. This scene is the Holly Waterworks Park down the street from me, a great go to place

William Brody age 72 has been painting for over 55 years. Paints realistic views of small town America and rural landscapes. Work can be found in many private and public collections throughout the country and overseas. He is a Signature member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society .,Audubon Artists, National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic. He has entered and won many juried shows over the past 25+ years, been in many invitational exhibits and solo shows. Use of light and shadow is employed to give his paintings a timeless feel of a frozen moment.
