Artist's Description
A few years ago we were on a trek in South Carolina to see a waterfall. It was only a little over a mile but being old and out of shape it seemed longer. On the way I took several photos of things that were on the corner of my eyes. Lots of times when you go for a walk in the woods you don't always stop and get a good look. This may be because of the bugs, a hurry to get where you are going or are in a group that doesn't share the same interests as you. When I went over the several hundred pictures I took this scene stood out for me. I'm not sure where this was at on our journey to the waterfall but was glad I saw it for a brief moment. Through the act of painting I was able to give this spot the time it deserved
